Izmir to host Iranian movies

 

There is no frigate like a film!

Now it’s Izmir’s turn to host Iranian films. Izmir’s Iranian Film Festival will begin tomorrow December 10 and lasts till 13.

During the event, a lineup of acclaimed Iranian movies with Turkish subtitles will be screened at Istanbul’s Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts and Izmir’s Yasar University Iran’s Visual Media Institute, the organizers of the festival announced on Sunday, Tehran Times reports..

The lineup includes “I Feel Sleepy” directed by Reza Attaran, “The Poor” by Mohammadreza Arab, “Private Life of Mr. and Mrs. M” and “Amongst the Clouds” by Ruhollah Hejazi, “Someone Wanna Talk to You” by Manuchehr Hadi, “Here without Me” by Bahram Tavakkoli and “I’m His Wife” by Mostafa Shayesteh.

The festival has been organized by the Iranian cultural attaché’s office in Istanbul and Iran’s Visual Media Institute.
